The specs of your machine is

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06089023

It probably uses same battery as on my machine

        https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06095817

It is a 4-cell, 70 Wh Li-ion polymer battery part # 917724-855 which is NOT available from HP Part Store in the US

2 week ago, I upgraded my machine to Windows 10 2004 and suddenly battery died, un-recoverable. I tried HP Part Store in Australia where I live and result:

     Omen Batt price_0.png

It is a backorder item, and the price is frightening since I always use main power (with UPS) and only use my machine probably twice a month therefore I don't want to pay 4 or 5 Australian dollars a week for nothing (my machine is 2 years old now).

I can try the following vendors if I need     Omen Batt price_1.png

I can't find it on Amazon in France, the UK ..

               https://www.amazon.fr/HP-battery-Cells-Li-Ion-917724-855/dp/B077VCBLD4

May be you can try eBay

           https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Genuine-Battery-SR04XL-For-HP-Omen-15-CE000-917724-855-917678-171-HS...

Regards.
