Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 15-dk1035nr

I have an hp pavillion gaming laptop and up until now it has charged fine. i ran a test in bios and the adapter passed but in the hp utilities test it failed. when i plug in my power cord it lights up orange for a minute but i get a notification saying it may now charge (low power source) i bought a universal charger from walmart same result. i noticed i have a c port on the side with a lightning bolt symbol next to it so is there a way i can enable charging from the type c port? i am unsure haw to fix this issue.
