Hi:
No, it will not.
If your notebook has a M.2 slot, the slot only supports SATA SSD's not NVMe.
If your notebook did not come with a M.2 SSD from HP, the M.2 slot is most likely missing.
So make sure you open up the notebook and confirm that there is a M.2 slot before buying a SATA M.2 SSD.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types...
