To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

what exactly is happening such as whether the light is flickering, staying on when it shouldn’t, or not responding at all? Also, let me know which HP model you’re using, since troubleshooting steps can vary slightly.

 

In the meantime, here are a few general steps you can try:

  • Restart your device: A simple reboot can sometimes reset the lighting system.
  • Check HP OMEN/Command Center settings: If your device uses HP lighting software, make sure the dynamic lighting is enabled and configured correctly.
  • Update drivers and BIOS: Outdated drivers or firmware can cause lighting issues. Visit HP Support https://support.hp.com/  to download the latest updates for your model.
  • Power reset: Shut down your device, unplug it from power, and hold the power button for about 15 seconds before reconnecting. This can clear residual electrical states.
  • Test with default settings: If you’ve customized the lighting, try resetting it to default to see if the issue persists.
