specifications : 8GB RAM, 4GB Nvidia 940MX ,  1TB Harddisk , Windows 10 

 

 

i think my garaphic card is not working properly when i play game on battry. it lages on small games around 1 gb. but when i play in pluged in charger there is no lag in GTA 5 (65GB) Game. please help me.

This is normal. The system is puposely throttling back to save on battery power.

You should alway game while plugged in to the AC power cord.

This will help to keep your battery from getting to its end of life faster also.

 

You can adjust the battery settings a little in the Nvidia Control Panel. It will boost performance some.

Manage 3D settings.

Select the game in the Program Settings tab

Set the Power Management to Prefer maximum performance.

You can also to the Power Options in Windows and set the power plan to High performance.
