OMEN Laptop - 15-en0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I opened my laptop earlier it made a loud popping sound which sounded like it came from the hinge. Also, when it's closed it looks like the space between the screen and the laptop is bigger on the left side, like the right side of the hinge is really slightly sticking out, I don't know if that started before or after the pop. I'm scared to keep closing it over in case that makes it worse but when I tried it either does a slightly quieter pop or creaking noises and it feels harder to open. I'm worried in case I open it and it comes apart or something.

I've only had this a few months, I've taken great care of it, never dropped it or anything and it's not damaged any other way.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand your HP notebook screen is separating from the unit, in order to fix this issue your computer needs to be repaired. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
