Hi @Vova4

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Horizontal stripes at the bottom of the screen can be caused by display driver issues, hardware faults, or incorrect settings.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot:
Check for External Display Issues
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor.
- If the issue appears on the external display, it may be a graphics driver problem.
- If it does not, the laptop screen itself may be faulty.
Update Graphics Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager).
- Expand Display Adapters and right-click your GPU.
- Select Update driver → Search automatically for drivers.
- Alternatively, download the latest drivers from NVIDIA or Intel, depending on your GPU.
Check BIOS Screen
- Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
- If the stripes appear in BIOS, it may indicate a hardware issue.
Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly.
- Select F2 for HP Diagnostics and run a Display Test.
Adjust Display Settings
- Go to Settings → System → Display.
- Try changing the refresh rate and resolution to see if the issue improves.
Perform a Clean Boot
- Open System Configuration (Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter).
- Under Services, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.
- Restart your laptop and check if the issue persists.
