hp laptop 14-dk0kkk battery draining at an exponential rate in past 2 weeks

I have had this laptop since January of this year and could watch movies on it for about 2 days while working while the battery slowly creeped down to the point I charged it every 3 days. In the last 2 weeks, I am charging it every night and during the day for work...any suggestions on what is happening???

However, Please try the below: 

Steps to uninstall the ACPI drivers 

Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Batteries>then select the s drivers and right-click on it and uninstall all battery drivers. 

Then restart the computer and check again.

Also, update the BIOS.
