Its probably a easy fix and i might just be missing a simple option but everytime i make macros they are gone after i restarted my laptop

I suggest you uninstall the HP Omen Command Center, restart your Notebook and download the latest version from Microsoft Store: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/omen-command-center/9nqdw009t0t5?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

 

Note: Gaming Macros only work on OMEN by HP 17-anxxx Notebook and OMEN X by HP 17-apxxx Notebook as per the HP Specs. Please refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05387497
