had the laptop for about a month now, have a weird problem where when plugged in and running a game even when gpu is maxxed out it keeps under 80 C but the cpu will reach up to 100 and sometimes even over at just a 30% load, I've tried changing graphic settings in game, system power settings, hp omen settings nothing seems to have worked so far. i see a 15-10 C drop when running on battery but it can only run for around an hour, please help

Do you use cooling pad? Will you able to reapply thermal paste if I provide you steps or want HP to do it if nothing works?
