Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

1.  I wanted to buy a hybrid drive (with storage of 512 Gb or 1Tb) to replace my hard disc that has come with my laptop.

So I was confused which ones are compatible with my laptop. It would be good if you could give me a small list of  those hybrid drives from some good companies.

2.  I also wanted to know if I would be able to change the drives on my own like I added RAM or will I need to go to HP service center to get it done.

3.  How should I transfer the data as I only have one storage slot in my laptop

1. Hybrid drives are SSHD drives which are same normal mechanical HDD's with bigger cache. Why not use 2.5" SSD, you only have to pay a bit more and you get much faster drive. You can use 2.5" SDD from nearly all vendors on this earth. One example

2. RAM: For peace of mind, you can use HP authorized service center

3. You can transfer data to new drive using 2.5"  USB enclosure for example

There are many around and cheaper too.

Regards.

Why do i need that case and are you sure there won't be any comparability issue?
