You should be able to upgrade to larger drive using same existing brand or

                   https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/

                   https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd

           Or similar from reputable vendors.

It is a CTO machine therefore we can't get its specs but it can be similar to the following machine

                 https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06661145

The question is  machine can have dual storage as the above machine

Hard drive
  • 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
  • 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA

Which drive is too small and you wish to replace or add ?

Regards.

Looks like you do not use 1TB. You can direct all your download files to other drive, not C:. Please use the following way to set default files locations:

            https://www.ghacks.net/2019/10/14/how-to-change-the-default-save-location-in-windows-10/

Still not enough, you can upgrade

  1. 512GB SSD to 2TB and
  2. 1TB SATA to 2TB too (larger capacity would be to thick for your machine).

would i be able to add 1 of these hard drives along with using my existing hard drive. i have tried to look up if i would be able 2 but i couldn't find the info?

I did say you can have 2 physical drives

  • the first one is M.2 SSD (already)
  • the second one is 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD

That mean you can add the second drive to your machine, and keep the first drive. The following Guide gives you some idea (pp 1, 2, 33).
