OMEN by HP - 15-ce198wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I never received an answer via email or phone support. On this unit, based on the installed processor should be two graphics systems - Intel and Nvidia. Intel of course as in any other notebook would be used in low power mode, non graphics intensive applications, otherwise the Nvidia GPU would take over.  Is this an exception for this model? Disabled on CPU Intel GPU? Cannot install the Intel drivers, system does not meet minimum requirements.  Could somebody give me a straight answer?

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

NB_MSG_Pirates_1_1_931980-003 (hp.com)

If you look at chapter 1, notebooks with the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 graphics adapter such as yours, do not have the switchable Intel/Nvidia switchable graphics.  Nvidia discrete only.

The other models with the lower performing Nvidia 1050 GTX 1050Ti graphics have the Intel/Nvidia switchable (Hybrid) graphics.
