I recently owned a hp omen 15 - dh0xxx laptop (windows 11 home 64 bit). This laptop has issues. But the two issues are mostly noticeable.

1. Whenever i connect any usb device to the upper left usb slot then the laptop behave strangely after a few minutes. The address box is always selected whenever i open this pc and can't get in or navigate through local drives easily and also the run can't be used as it continuously flickers if after writing any words or letters in it.

2. The igpu is not working in this laptop and always in dgpu activated mode. I also tried to install igpu drivers manually but it is not working too. I tried to activate igpu from uefi/bios but didn't get any option to do it. Is there any way to activate it or use it ?

Hi @Amitvakta96,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP OMEN 15-dh0xxx laptop's iGPU is not working, and a USB port causes abnormal behavior. Let’s go through a few checks.

Check USB port behavior

Shut down the laptop.

Disconnect all USB devices.

Inspect the upper-left USB port for bent pins or debris.

Start the laptop and test the port using a simple USB mouse.

If the issue appears immediately, stop using that port.

Note: Continuous selection or flickering behavior can occur if a USB port is shorted or sending repeated input signals.

Update chipset and USB controller drivers

Open Device Manager.

Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.

Right-click each USB Root Hub and select Update driver.

Install chipset drivers from HP software tools or Windows Update.

Restart the laptop.

Check graphics switching configuration

Restart the laptop and press Esc repeatedly.

Press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.

Open Advanced or Device Configuration.

Look for Hybrid Graphics or Switchable Graphics settings.

Enable Hybrid Graphics if available, then save and restart.

Reinstall integrated graphics driver

Open Device Manager.

Expand Display adapters.

If the integrated GPU appears, uninstall it.

Restart the laptop.

Install the Intel graphics driver from HP software tools.

Check Device Manager for hidden devices

Open Device Manager.

Select View > Show hidden devices.

Expand display adapters.

Confirm whether the Intel iGPU appears.

Restart the laptop after checking.

CAUTION: If the USB port triggers system input behavior and the integrated GPU does not appear in Device Manager, this may indicate a hardware-level system board issue.

I hope this helps.
