It currently has 128GB of M.2 SSD and 2TB of normal HDD. From Device Manager, what is the existing M.2 SSD ? It does support PCIe NVMe (TLC) M.2 SSD as shown on page 3 of its manual.
But to avoid headache please use the same brand and specs of the existing SSD with larger capacity. Why not 512GB or 1TB ? You may feel hungry for space again.
Regards.

Yes, u're right
in Device Manager, there's 2 disk drives
1. IM2S3138E-128GM-B
2. ST2000LM003 HN-M201RAD
i test the SSD with CrystalDiskMark and As SSD
the SSD Speed is no more than 550 MB/s
so, i think this SSD is "regular SSD" (Not NVMe PCIe SSD)
or, this SSD has been changed before i bought this
(btw, i bought this used laptop, for half the new price)
So, i just want 2 upgrade with 970 Evo, just 4 Drive C
im sorry, i just saw the manual
https://support.hp.com/id-en/product/omen-by-hp-17-w100-laptop-pc/12499486/model/13673646/manuals
But when i open the manual
the manual title is
Omen by HP Laptop PC
Models 17-w001 through 17-w099 and
Models 17-w201 through 17-w299
but my HP Omen 17-W106
so, that manual seems not for me
is it??

The manual in front of me is c05350442.pdf
OMEN by HP Laptop PC
Models 17-w101 through 17-w199 and
Models 17-w201 through 17-w299 with Memory Service Door
Maintenance and Service Guide
Probably HP pulled it out from library.
Regards.
