HP Omen 15t-ce000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP omen (15t-ce000) only came with one 8GB ram card, which I really want to upgrade. The crucial memory report of my laptop stated that 16GB (one more 8GB card) was my computer's max capacity, though I'd love to upgrade to 32GB. Would it still be possible to upgrade my laptop to 32GB instead of 16GB? Or would two 16GB cards not fit in the bank?

My specs are:

NVIDIA GTX 1050ti

Intel Core i7-7700HQ

Thank you for any help

No, normally Crucial gives one level up but in this case no option. Manual also says

Support for 16384 MB of DDR4 2666 MHz system memory in the following configurations:

  • 16384 MB (8192 MB × 2)
  • 12288 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 MB × 1)
  • 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1)

Regards.

Out of curiosity, what prevents my ability to level up? I feel like my other specs could handle 32GB of ram, but then again I don't know much about computers.

Thank you for the help, in that case I'll just go with another 8GB memory card.
