laptop lag when charging

i bought a brand new laptop two week ago. normally charging make game run faster. but when i start charging while playing a game, it low 80 fps to 50. game run faster when not charging. battery is on high performance mode and i get all the latest driver, Win 10 and BIOS upgrade. charger is 150 W and i think it's the right charger. so i don't know what problem is it, please help.

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

   

2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

   

3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

If the issue persists, try these steps

• Increase the amount of RAM - by increasing the shared memory under system properties > Advanced > Performance settings > Advanced > Change Virtual memory > use the recommended file size for paging. 

• Make sure the graphics card is not in power saving mode - If you are after maximum performance of you Intel HD Graphics, make sure you have turned off all of its power saving features. That is why in order to achieve maximum performance you have to make sure that your Windows power plan is not on Power Saver, you can use the Balanced or the High Performance power plan. You can also click the Intel HD Graphics driver tray icon (it should be near the clock in the taskbar), select Graphics Properties, then click the Power tab and select Maximum Performance. 
   
   

• Set the 3D preference of Intel HD Graphics to "Performance" - This trick will help you improve the frame rate in games. To apply it click the Intel HD Graphics driver tray icon, select Graphics Properties, then click the 3D tab and move the slider to Performance. In this way, you sacrifice a bit of image quality for improved 3D performance, which should lead to a few more frames per second (FPS)

i try all the option, but none of these work. But this time, i turn on HP message, and a message "For Full Performance, connect a higher capacity Power Adapter"  pop up after i start charging the laptop. but i think i got the right type of charger, don't know why this message pop up.

A faulty AC Adapter might not be providing enough power for gaming, thus the message regarding the AC Adapter

I suggest you contact HP Support for replacement AC Adapter
