iwant to add a 1TB HDD to my gaming laptop because i currently have a 512 ssd nvme and am running out of storage,

so plz tell me what type of hdd to get and how would i add it and wether it is the best option (financially and practically)

for a long term usage.

The series supports dual storage that means you can add 2.5" HDD/SSD to your machine BUT you need 2 parts (HDD cable and brackets) as mentioned on pp 37-38 of the following manual

One part is N/A on the market, other part is very hard to find because it is a new part:

 

       http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=L56898-001

 

Not on eBay, Amazon, ... Option: wait for few more months or talk with repairer the may help you.

Okay i will try to see if any repairer near buy has the cable and brackets available otherwise I’ll just take your advice and wait some more time...
