Hi @jaber2ahmad,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Volume and Output Settings
- Click on the speaker icon in the taskbar (bottom-right).
- Make sure the volume is not muted or too low.
- Right-click the speaker icon → Click Open Sound settings.
- Under Output, make sure Speakers (Realtek Audio or HP Audio) is selected.
Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Right-click the speaker icon → Select Troubleshoot sound problems.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Update or Reinstall Audio Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Windows + X → Select Device Manager).
- Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click on Realtek Audio (or HP Audio) → Select Update driver.
- Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If that doesn’t work:
- Right-click Realtek Audio → Click Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop; Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
Install the HP Audio Driver from HP’s Website
- Go to HP Support.
- Search for Victus by HP 15-fa0000.
- Download and install the latest Realtek or HP audio driver.
Check for BIOS or Windows Updates
- Go to Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates.
- Install any BIOS updates from HP Support.
Test with Headphones or External Speakers
- If headphones work fine, the laptop’s built-in speakers may be faulty.
- If sound is still bad on headphones, it’s likely a software issue.
Adjust Sound Enhancements
- Right-click the speaker icon → Select Sounds.
- Go to the Playback tab → Select your default speaker → Click Properties.
- Under the Enhancements tab, disable all enhancements.
- Click Apply and OK.
