Hi @Vishal00726
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having issues with Microsoft Office. To help resolve this, here are some common troubleshooting steps you can follow based on the issue you're experiencing:
1. Check for Updates
- Make sure your Microsoft Office is up to date. Sometimes issues arise from outdated software. Here's how to check for updates:
- Open any Office app (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
- This will ensure you have the latest bug fixes and updates.
2. Repair Office
If your Office apps are still not working properly, try repairing the installation:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Go to Programs > Programs and Features.
- Find Microsoft Office in the list, right-click it, and select Change.
- Select Quick Repair or Online Repair (if Quick Repair doesn't solve the problem, try Online Repair).
3. Check Your License and Activation
- If your Microsoft Office is asking for activation or showing an error related to licensing, make sure you're signed in with the correct Microsoft account that has an active Office subscription.
- Go to File > Account in any Office app, and check the Product Information section.
- If necessary, log out and log in again, or re-enter your product key if you're using a standalone license.
4. Reinstall Microsoft Office
If the issue persists, you might need to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Office:
- Open the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
- Find Microsoft Office and click Uninstall.
- After uninstalling, go to the Microsoft Office website or the Microsoft Store to reinstall Office.
5. Clear Office Cache (for Office 365 Users)
If you're using Office 365 and encountering issues like slowness or unexpected behavior, clearing the cache might help:
- Close all Office apps.
- Press Windows + R, type %localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\, and press Enter.
- Delete the OfficeFileCache folder.
- Restart your PC and open Office apps again.
6. Check for Conflicting Software
Sometimes, third-party antivirus or other software can interfere with Microsoft Office. Try temporarily disabling any antivirus or firewall software and see if the issue persists.
I hope this helps.
