hi, 

 

so I have an omen 15 gaming laptop, and its been working great for a while, but now when I play games on the performance mode, with Nvidia optimization it get up to 97 celsius in no time and starts lagging. but when I don't use it and only have a few tabs open it's at 80 or so. keep in mind that this is in performance mode. I am not sure why it is getting so hot. I have updated it as much as I can, but not much of a change still lags. this didn't happen when I initially got the laptop. so what`s happening?

as it turns out my laptop`s fans and vents were dust, did a quick clean with a hoover and it work great again!

 

my laptop was 1yr old
