my laptop is very slow

hi, my laptop has been acting really strange latly. last night i had a powercut and my laptop died, since then it has been running really slowly, especialy when playing games, then it looks like a slideshow. I tried everything i know to fix it, but it didnt do anything. This problem has happend before, i also did not know how to fix it, but after sometime i decided to do a full restart of the laptop, wiping everything. this worked but i lost my files. I cant do a full restart everytime my laptop runs out of battery tho.

I also noticed that its mainly games that feel laggy, my browser, discord, etc are fine, they are indeed slower but they are not as bad as the game. i can run a game, and when i am alt-tab in the game, its a slideshow, but when i swich to the browser, the browser acts fine.

ram: 8gb

main GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q Design

second gpu: AMD Radeon(TM) RX Vega 10 Graphics

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

update- i did a full laptop restart, deleted everything. But the lag still remains
