Omen X 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, I got the premium version of avast(anti-virus) and it scanned my laptop and i said resolve all problems. One of the problems was the application that was slowing down the laptop, omen command center wasa part of these application.Avast put these apps in sleep mode and i need to but them back in normal mode from avast so i can use them again. All the applications were working after i put them back in normal mode exept for one and it's the omen command center. When i click on it, it says that there is no file in this laptop for the omen command center.I tried to install it from microsoft store but they said that i already have the application,so i deleted it from storage and i wanted to install it back but it's telling me that i still have the application and i didn't find any file for the omen command center

So i have 2 question:-There is a way to install it back?

If no,If i restart my laptop and deleting EVERYTHING, omen command center will come back?

I don't care re installing everything i don't have somthing important in my laptop but i need to be sure that if i reset completely my laptop omen command center will come back (Because they ask you if you want to delete everything or only your files)

Thank you

Anti Virus suites are not always the best solution to problems.

Go to Services and see if the HP Omen HSA is enabled. Right click on it and set it to run Automatic and click the Start button.

Let me know if it helps.

If you cant uninbstall or reinstall and you dont have that service available, Avast really screwed your system up.

You will have to do a factory reset. This will wipe the C drive and reinstall Windows. You will want to back up any important data first.

F11 will access the reset process at power on.

LEt me know if you have other questions.

Okay I will reset my laptop but I need to be sure that Omen Command Center will come back, can you confirm that Omen command center will come back if I reset my laptop?

And when I want to reset my laptop, there is many steps, like do you want to keep your Files or delete everything... can you tell me exatly what I need to do to reset it?

I’m sorry if I’m bothering you but I am really sad that Avast did that.Anyway

Thank you so much for responding for these 2 questions

Backing up your data means that if you made any important documents or photos you want to keep, you need to copy them over to an external drive to keep them.

You do know what a USB flash drive is or a USB hard drive, correct?

Copy and paste what it is you want to keep. You can only do this with documents, photos, music, movies. But not with programs you installed.
