Hi @Nik06 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are experiencing sudden blank screens on your Victus laptop could be due to various reasons ranging from software glitches to hardware issues.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  • Update Drivers: Ensure that all your device drivers, especially graphics and audio drivers, are up-to-date. You can do this through Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers.
  • Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated. Microsoft often releases patches and updates that address known issues and improve system stability.
  • Run Windows Troubleshooters: Windows provides built-in troubleshooters that can help identify and fix common problems. You can access these by typing "Troubleshoot" in the Windows search bar and selecting the relevant troubleshooter for display or audio issues.
  • Scan for Malware: Perform a full system scan using a reputable antivirus or antimalware program to rule out any potential malware infections that could be causing the issue.
  • Check for Overheating: Overheating can lead to unexpected shutdowns or display issues. Ensure that your laptop's vents are clear of dust and debris, and consider using a laptop cooling pad to help dissipate heat more effectively.
  • Check Power Settings: In some cases, power settings or sleep settings could be causing the issue. Adjust these settings to prevent your laptop from entering sleep mode or turning off the display prematurely.
  • Hardware Diagnostics: Use built-in hardware diagnostics tools or third-party software to check the health of your laptop's hardware components, such as the RAM, hard drive, and graphics card. This can help identify if there are any failing components that need to be replaced.

To assist better:

  • May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
