@Armando87, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I'm sorry to hear about the connectivity issues you're experiencing with your HP Victus 15 laptop. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check Network Adapter Settings

Device Manager: Open Device Manager by searching for it in the Windows search bar. Expand the "Network adapters" section and ensure your network adapter is listed. Right-click on it and select "Enable" if it is disabled.

Network Troubleshooter: Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter by going to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Internet Connections.

Reset Network Settings

  • Network Reset: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status. Scroll down to find "Network reset" and click it. This will remove and reinstall network adapters and set networking components back to their default settings.

Check HP Support Assistant

  • HP Support Assistant: Use the HP Support Assistant tool to check for any HP-specific driver updates or settings issues. You can download and install the tool from HP Support Assistant if it’s not already installed on your laptop.

Check BIOS/UEFI Settings

  • BIOS/UEFI: During boot, access BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the appropriate key (usually F2, F10, Esc, or Delete). Verify that the network adapter is enabled in the settings.

Static IP Address Test

If you have experience with network settings, try setting a static IP address to see if it establishes a connection. Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Right-click on your network connection, click on Properties, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Properties, and set a static IP.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
