Hi @chandu38

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining that clearly. If your Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb0050AX shows a blinking charge light but the battery percentage doesn’t increase, it’s likely a power delivery or battery calibration issue.

Let’s walk through a few steps to help resolve it:

Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset

This clears residual power and resets hardware-level charging logic.

  1. Power off the laptop completely.
  2. Unplug the charger and disconnect any external devices.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the charger and power on the laptop.

Step 2: Check Charger and Port Integrity

  • Ensure the charger is the original HP adapter rated for your model.
  • Inspect the AC smart pin and charging port for dust or damage.
  • Try a different wall outlet or compatible HP charger if available.

Step 3: Update BIOS and Battery Drivers

Outdated firmware can interfere with battery detection and charging.

Step 4: Run HP Battery Check

This tool can identify battery health and charging issues.

Step 5: Calibrate the Battery

If the battery is functional but misreporting charge levels:

  1. Charge the laptop to 100% (even if it appears stuck).
  2. Use the laptop on battery until it shuts down.
  3. Recharge to full without interruption.

This helps reset the battery’s internal charge tracking.

Let me know what you observe after trying these actions, and I’ll guide you further if needed. You're clearly being proactive—let’s get this sorted.
