Hello my hp notebook core  up to 85c Is this a risky situation?  I heard it was risky on the internet.

It depends. What are you doing when the temperature gets that high?

 

If you are running an intense game and its up to 85c, yes that sounds about right.

Laptops (especially Omens) run hotter than what a desktop will. They don't cool as efficiently.

As long as its not reaching more than that (into the 90s), your laptop is running as expected.

Some users will also place the laptop on a cooling pad to help bring the temps down a little.
