no errors. Just freezes and puts out a massive amount of heat from the topwhere the speaker bar is.
sounds like its taking off too.
there is no issues with debris in the cooling fans. The lap top is used with the back of it elevated to provide better clearance for airflow instead of the barely 3mm provided by the feet. It is and has only ever been used on tables and desks.
Been doing it for at least the last 7-8 months.
tried the (not very helpful) vitual assist with the support centre to ensure drivers are up to date. I have tried putting windows 11 on it also.
The frequency of crashes until this week had stabilised since adding windows 11.
But this last week it has worsened.
I'm playing games within capabilities....Rome total war 2 (this is a 2015 game) , Dreadnought, Homeworld - Kharak, Endless space, Jedi Fallen order and similar.
Same pattern, 10mins to 1hr gaming....freezing. Cant get task manager to open when this happens.
Using Gforce performance overlay I can see the GPU hits about 70-74 degrees before the crash occurs. It sounds like its taking off.
I really want to speak to a support agent to send this away to be repaired.
It has 9 months left on careplan, and you cant seem to get to a person to affect a resolution to this issue. I'm so tired of the circular interaction on the virtual agent and the website support. Just want it fixed
