Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, strangely over the last 2-3 weeks the plastic that is stuck to the screen has been peeling away. Only two or three days ago, the connector has been breaking away and showing the hinges underneath. This is very strange as I haven't dropped it or anything. My guess is that because I use it for gaming, the hot air from the fan has made the screen pull away and has had a ripple effect onto everything else. Please aid.
