I have bought this laptop 7 months ago and it has a lot of problems. First is the excessive overheating when playing games(If I play a more demanding game it can go up to 90 degrees Celsius ) and thermal throttling. My second problem is that, sometimes if I play a game, the laptop stops charging and starts again in an endless loop, displaying the message "plugged in, not charging". I have had these annoying problems and this is what really drives me to get a Desktop PC.
Is there any way that I could get a refund or trade my laptop in for another HP computer or at least get it fixed ?

If its still under warranty, you could get hp to repair it. Just start a chat through their virtual chat on hp support assist or call them up and see if they can resolve the problems mentioned through the chat or on the phone. If they can't and its under warranty they will take it to their service center, diagnosis it, and repair it. In regards to high temps, that's just something that comes with omen laptops. I have the omen x 2s that's advertised to come with thermal grizzly liquid metal paste which is supposed to decrease cpu temps, but my cpu still runs very hot, (in the 90s) when playing demanding games. I would try undervolting through Intel xtreme utility and seeing if that helps, but not sure if that voids warranty or not. Hope this helps!
