Hi @Tanuj07

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I’m sorry you’re going through this; I understand the concern and don’t worry I’ll help you with this.

To help me understand the situation better, could you please share a bit more information?

 Please let me know:

1. What is the exact model of your device?
2. When did the error message first appear?
3. Does the fan make any unusual noise, or has the system been overheating?
4. Have you installed any recent updates or noticed any other changes?

In the meantime, please try these basic troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart your device – Sometimes a simple reboot can reset the fan control.
  2. Check for obstructions – Ensure the air vents are not blocked by dust or objects, and the device is on a hard, flat surface.
  3. Run hardware diagnostics (if available on your device model) – This helps confirm whether the fan has a hardware fault.
  4. Update BIOS firmware – Outdated firmware can cause fan control issues.

Link : https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers, Kindly update the BIOS by entering the serial number .

5.Check for system updates via HP Support Assistant  – Install any windows updates pending updates that may include thermal management fixes.

Since your product is still under warranty, once we confirm the details, we can guide you through the service or repair process as well.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster!

Take care and have an amazing day ahead!

Best regards,
