replace RAM and warranty

I would like to know if replacing the ram of my pc in order to increase the capacity will removed the warranty.

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 5 indicates that the memory removal and replacement procedure is a customer-authorized service.

However, if you break something in the process of upgrading the memory, naturally the warranty will be void.

One thing to note is that if your notebook needs warranty service, you will need to return it to its original hardware configuration before sending it in for warranty service.
