Hello guys

I heard a lot of people that have overlocked their laptop's refresh rate successfully and they never encounter tearing agin .

my question is that can I overlock my omen laptop's screen refresh rate ? and if I can ,what is the limit of refresh rate that can be overlocked ?

@Hatem777 The maximum refresh rate supported by your device is 144 Hz, The GTX 1050 plays games at 1080p at 60 FPS at low details, or 30–40 FPS at medium. Either way, you'll almost never be playing at 144 or even 100 FPS, so you don't need a higher refresh rate, with that said, if you wish to make performance changes or overclock the device, you may want to check the Omen Command center: Click here for details.

The OMEN Command Center offers tools to monitor and improve system performance.

  • Performance dashboard

  • Overclocking tools

  • Network optimization

  • Update management

Let me know how that pans out,
