will a acer fa100 512gb ssd work with my hp pavilion gaming laptop 15 -dk1xxx???

It should work just fine.

 

You might want to look into this one too, which costs less and has 3,500/3,000 read/write speeds:

It does have 12 GB less storage than the Acer, but that is not much of a difference.
