Yes, you can buy a USB-C/USB 3 to NVMe SSD enclosure and use cloning software to transfer the existing drive's contents to the new one.

You need an enclosure like this:

Amazon.com: SSK M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to NVME PCI-E SATA M-Ke...

You plug the new SSD into the enclosure and run the cloning software.

When the clone reports successfully completed, you can remove the old SSD and install the new one, and the notebook should boot right up.

You shouldn't have any problems as long as the clone was successful.

Your notebook only has support for one M.2 SSD.

so my only option is to get a new storage device and clone it right?
