@Savy6,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

For the HP Victus 15-fb3025AX (RTX 4060), the most reliable TGP value is 75-watt. This lower power profile likely reflects the laptop's thermal design and battery efficiency objectives.

Given that the power adapter for your Victus by HP 15-fb3025AX Gaming Laptop (B83U0PA) is 120-watt, the power breakdown is as follows:

Charger rating (120-watt) = the entire system’s maximum external power budget, which covers:

  • CPU package (Ryzen 9: typically 35–45-watt sustained, spikes higher in boost)

  • GPU (75-watt)

  • Display panel (≈5–10-watt depending on brightness & refresh)

  • SSD(s) and storage devices (≈3–6-watt each under load)

  • RAM (≈2–3-watt per stick)

  • Motherboard chipset, VRMs, Wi-Fi, USB peripherals, cooling fans, etc. (≈10–15-watt combined)

  • Battery charging overhead (when in use)

The RTX 4060’s 75-watt limit ensures the GPU never overwhelms the compact chassis or the modest 120-watt charger.

The rest of the system (CPU, display, storage, etc.) fits comfortably in the remaining power budget.

Kind Regards,
