Welcome to HP support community.

Provide the complete model number or the product number?

Does the computer shut down due to overheating or does the computer freezes?

Meanwhile:
Run the extensive system test from F2.

Refer this HP document for the steps to run the test:- Click here

If the test passes, you can update BIOS, Chipset and graphics card drivers using HP Support assistant.

Refer this HP document for the steps to use HPSA:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
