Hi @steps251,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your system is showing a “TPM attestation not compatible” message even after clearing TPM, enabling Secure Boot, and reinstalling Windows. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

    a. Check BIOS Version and Update
Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter BIOS.
Go to System Information and check the BIOS version.
Visit the HP Software & Drivers page for your Victus model and download the latest BIOS update if available.
Install the update and restart your laptop.

    b. Enable TPM (fTPM) and Secure Boot in BIOS
In BIOS, go to Security > TPM Device and make sure it is set to Available or Enabled (fTPM).
Then go to Boot Options > Secure Boot Configuration and ensure Secure Boot is enabled.
        Save changes and exit.

    c. Clear TPM from Windows Settings
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Security Processor Details > Security Processor Troubleshooting.
Select Clear TPM and restart the device.

    d. Check Windows Attestation Support Status
Press Win + R, type tpm.msc, and press Enter.
Check if TPM status shows “The TPM is ready for use with reduced functionality (Attestation not supported)”.
        If yes, it's a firmware-level compatibility issue.

    e. Enable Device Encryption / BitLocker Temporarily
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Device Encryption or BitLocker.
Turn on Device Encryption or BitLocker, let it initialize, then turn it off again.
This can reinitialize TPM keys and restore attestation.

I hope this helps.
