Product: OMEN by HP 15-ax228tx Laptop PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i am using latest bios and after doing some tweekings with power settings. the laptop is not using turbo boost although it uses it frequently. even with games and extensive task the frequency remains at 2.8ghz and 100 perc cpu utilization. and now i turned all the settings to normal the turbo boost is not working. plz help.

Was the Turbo Boost working before?

 

I suggest you uninstall the HP Omen Command Center and download the latest version from the Microsoft Store

 

 

  • Click the Microsoft Store icon on the task bar.

  • Search for OMEN Command Center.

  • Click Update.

    Wait while the program downloads and installs.

  • Click Play.
