Identifying the Battery Issue

Inspect Battery:
- Make sure the battery is properly seated and connected if you can access it easily.
- Confirm the battery is charging when the laptop is plugged in. If it’s not, there might be an issue with the charger or power port.
Steps for a Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset can sometimes resolve issues related to power and connectivity.
Turn Off the Laptop:
- Ensure the laptop is completely powered down.
Disconnect All External Devices:
- Unplug the AC adapter and remove any peripheral devices.
Remove the Battery:
- If your laptop has a removable battery, take it out.
Press and Hold the Power Button:
- Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual power from the laptop.
