Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i purchased a laptop 3 months ago .... with no extended warranty just the laptop without any extended package.... right now i researched wbout it and it is saying on hp support that it is extended warranty and 7 months are remaining.

is it error from hp side or from dealer side.

Hi

Depending on the Country/Region the warranty varies.

EU countries get 2 years, some countries get a split year.

 

The split is initial setup / teething problems where telephone support maybe available, then the balance is via a web link for instance.

 

So if you don't need any warranty work it is incidental, but if you do then........
