Its possible the specs have a typo.

What is your full Product number so I can see what you're looking at?

Its in the HP Support Assistant.

OK Thanks. Your laptop is a CTO (custom built) model... OMEN by HP 15t-dc100 CTO

There isn't any specs for it.

What are you looking at that says your 2060 is using DDR5?

The manual says its DDR6 - page 1... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06219881

I think that Store page is wrong.

Try this...

Download the Portable version of HWInfo and then unzip it.

Run it and see what its says your card has.....

https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

Example from an old Omen I used to own....

You don't have the laptop yet? OK

I was stating the info about the vram was wrong on that HP Store page.

When you get the laptop, run the program I linked to and it will tell you what you have.

no noy yet ..

but what if the laptoo has the gddr5 version  ?

OK so let me ask... What is it going to hurt? Its not something you're going to notice to the naked eye one way or another. The games are going to work fine either way.

If its DDR5, the advertisement wasn't wrong, so no foul.

If it is DDR6 then you are also golden.

I wouldn't worry about it but if it bothers you, contact the HP Store you purchased from and discuss your options for a refund.
