You have one color, correct? what color is your keyboard lights currently?
Also post the full product number of your laptop so I can look up its specs.
Press Control/Alt/S for the information menu in windows
Or
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H > HP Help and then Support > HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The 7 digit Product Number will be listed in both those places.

OK thanks. Your full model number is HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0020nl.
The models in that series come with 4 different keyboards. Ghost White, Violet, Acid Green and one with white but no backlight.
They are static LEDs, meaning they do not change.
According to HP's documents, you model comes with the Ghost White backlight keyboard.
HP's packaging will include a photo of only one of their models for all boxes and it appears they used the green one. You have to read the actual specification details on the box to know what you are actually getting.
You could always try taking it back to the store you purchased from if you are not satisfied.
