Hi, I am just curious to know if overclocking my laptop display would void my warranty, currently, it's running at 60hz but wish to safely overclock it to 85hz or 90hz

Hey there! @Viscous_moon,

Please provide the product number of your PC to assist you better.

Three things can happen if you try to set a monitors Hz range above what it`s maximum frequency is stated. Also, the warranty will get void if you try overclocking the PC. 

1. You will lose the screen display altogether, and may possibly damage the monitor.
2. Your signal from the graphics card will not be detected and the monitor will report it out of range.
3. When you play a game you will suffer from jerky gameplay and possibly really bad screen tearing.

Lastly, overclocking is supported only on Omen laptops.
