HP Reveal (Aurasma) Crashes on Startup
05-13-2019 04:25 AM

I work in a primary school where we have used Aurasma for some time on our iPads. Following a recent update to HP Reveal the app crashes on startup and is now unusable. I have extracted the crash log from an iPad for reference.
Any insight as to what's going on and how to resolve it appreciated,

Try putting the iPads in Airplane mode, and disconnect WIFI. Since HP Reveal is being discontinued, everyone who uses dedicated iPads needs to do this. You may get an error message on launch, just ignore it and keep going. You should be able to access what you already have in the cache.
As for what comes next for making new AR, there is some stuff on the horizon, not not there yet... nothing seems as good yet and this is real loss to the community. Sad story. Big company buys a great product from a dedicated team, and there it goes....
