HP Compact Photo Printer A716

I've owned this printer since 2005. I bought it to print .jpg photos at remote locations where I didn't have power or a laptop.  I hadn't used it in a long time until recently. When I connect a memory card of 4GB, it reads the card. When I connect a 32GB card, it returns a "Card Access Error". Is there a software or firmware upgrade that will let it read large memory cards?

Going through your post, I’m afraid that we do not have any firmware update to enable the printer to read large memory cards 😞

This is an old model printer and the printer card reader framework / hardware is not capable of reading large size memory card. Also, this is an obsolete model and hence, no firmware update is available for this machine.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Good luck 🙂
