A warm welcome to HP Community!

I believe it's prompting for the printers Wi-Fi direct password, the Wi-Fi direct password should be available on the Wi-Fi direct summary. Let's try these steps:

1.) From the Home screen on the printer display, select   Wi-Fi direct icon.

2.) Press the button next to Display Password to display the wireless direct password.

We can also connect the printer to your home wireless network and then use AirPrint or HP Smart App to print. Here is how to do it:

1.) From the home screen on the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon .

2.) Touch the Setup icon .

3.) Touch Wireless Setup Wizard and then follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your home WiFi.

Once the printer is connected, use the instructions on the links below to print using AirPrint or HP Smart App:

Apple AirPrint

HP Smart App

Let me know how it goes!
