Hi,
Since I -once- removed Webservices from the printer, I'm now trying to re-activate them. Printer fails in doing so suggesting I check the internet connection. What have I done so far to work around the problem:
- checked WiFi network connection; is fine, wireless printing works
- manually configured IP and DNS on the printer; is fine, wireless printing still functioning properly
- Factory reset printer; still, wireless printing is functioning properly
- commanded a Product update from the configuration menu on the printer; FAILS
- commanded activation of Webservices; FAILS
Firmware version on the printer: VEP1CN1137CR
Service-id: 22245
Driver version: HP Inkjet 4 Driver 4.2.2
Product number: CQ877B
Any help would be most appreciated!

It's a shame that HP can decommission functionality I believe I already paid for; it is even a logo on the printer ' HP ePrint'.....
Thank you for quickly resolving my question though!
Shame on HP, once known for its absolute customer-centric focus.
