Claim code expired

HP Recommended
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am trying to link my new Alexa Dot to HP envy 5030 printer. It says the claim code has expired. I have tried turning off the printer, removed web services and reinstalled with new codes, but every time it says claim code expired!

@Sooz2454 Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support and we appreciate your patience.

That said, you must claim your printer to use web-connected printing services like HP ePrint, HP Instant Ink, and other cartridge replenishment programs. If you have trouble claiming your printer, see the following solutions: Click here for FAQs

I have read all FAQ, I have powered off, reset , had new codes, everything mentioned in FAQ and STILL get claim code expired! I need to be able to print from Alexa, so what can I do to fix this? Remote printing from iPhone and iPad works fine.

@Sooz2454 I suggest you check my private message for steps on performing a full reset, the instructions are designed for your specific printer and if anyone with a different model would try the steps, it may render the printer unstable, hence a private message would be the safest way of sharing this information:

Stand by for updates!

And have a good day.

(P.S: If anyone wants these instructions for their specific printers, please create a public post and tag me, I'll be happy to help).
