So I'm currently stations in Japan with the military and I don't have a typical router with the wifi button that you can automatically connect the printer too. I also am trying to avoid having to connect it to the router via that it is across the room and i don't really want to connect via USB. Is there any help to connect it? I've tried almost everything and so far nothing has worked and all I'm trying to do is print airplane tickets to see my wife and not have to go to the library. Thank you in advance!

@Philip3025,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you to print wirelessly without connecting the printer to a router.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You can print using the Wi-Fi direct option on the printer. Follow the steps in the below article for the detailed steps to setup Wi-Fi direct.
